As executive vice president and chief information officer of Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc., Fred Bellio was responsible for the strategic vision and business transformation for Ashley to become a technology company. Systems include supply chain management, business-to-supplier, manufacturing, warehouse management, business-to-retailer, customer service, and retail management, including point-of-sale systems and e-commerce.
Fred’s experience in manufacturing and supply chain is extremely strong. Prior to joining Ashley, he worked for Whirlpool Corporation where he was the CIO for the Global Products Organization. In that role, Fred was responsible for the development of strategic capabilities, processes, and technology in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing, Product Development, Global Strategic Sourcing, Quality and Service. He also was the leader of Whirlpool’s connected appliance strategy and technology development for Whirlpool’s suite of connected products and services.
Fred was the founder and leader of Brunswick’s Mercury PLM Services when it was created in 2008. Fred led the vision, creation, and successful operations of this Services business.
As the Technology Leader for the Internet of Things (IoT) global platform at Whirlpool, Carl was accountable for bringing connected consumer and commercial products to market. He was responsible for the development of new capabilities, mobile apps, 3rd party integrations and day to day platform operations, along with addressing cybersecurity concerns.
Carl is passionate about delivering a world class consumer experience whether its to the end consumer who buys a product or enhance a company employees’ ability to do their job better.
Carl has 23 years experience in Systems Development and Operations. Prior to joining Whirlpool Carl worked for Mercury Marine where he managed Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, and developed systems for Engineering information management, inventory control, and resource capacity planning for the Research and Development organization.
Carl was part of the leadership team which founded Brunswick`s Mercury PLM Services in 2008. He is also a United States Air Force veteran as a Communications Computer Information Systems Non-Commissioned Officer.
As an IT/Telecom Category Lead at Accenture; James was responsible for category and supplier management to managing large-scale and complex IT agreements serving stakeholder communities numbering in the thousands to small-scale single-use agreements supporting special projects.
James leverages his extensive business services, procurement, and technology leadership experiences to drive tangible client value and results by incorporating effective strategies that build client stakeholder trust & relationships, leveraging IT market expertise, and addressing operational cost/improvements.
James is a global procurement professional with a background in the areas of Information Technology & Automotive procurement spanning over 27 years, including a variety of management positions in service delivery management, logistics, and strategic supplier management.
